The bright chills of fall have arrived.

This is the entry I originally had planned for last Friday. I wasn't sure if I should go ahead and let it have today's slot, because it is SO not with my mood today (which is GORGEOUS outside, very cool and sunny). But, I found this photographer's website that I hadn't seen before and just fell for it all utterly. I'm sure I'll fawn over many more of his serieseses in the future.

Photographer: Eugenio Recuenco.

Despite being so dark and dusty for today, I like the old space-carnival theme -- and the long dresses. Especially that red draped one!

TCM has done it again.

I seriously had a whole 'nother post written, and then I turned on TCM and their birthday dame of the day is Angela Lansbury. ANGELA OMG LANSBURY. She is my HERO.

Aghh, her attitude is so much. D:

In one of her best roles, as Mrs Lovett in Sweeney Todd on Broadway. GTFO, Helena Bonham Married-to-the-director.

Happy 84th, Angela!

Lillian Gish.

TCM is playing lots of lovely old movies today, all starring Lillian Gish, for her birthday. It's hard to believe that her film career ran for over 75 years -- from silent films in the 20s right up to 1987!

Happy 115th birthday, Lillian!

The 20s had such a great look. Lightly smoky eyes and those vampy dark lips. Round, young faces, tiny waists, and wavy hair. Loooove ittt.

A "gothic bungalow"...

"Bungalow" is such a warm, eclectic word, perfect for this unique place.

I very officially want every chair in this house for my own. Images of this cozy house via Apartment Therapy.

Had a weekend full of studying, bleh. This weekend will be better. I can't wait for my birthday on Friday!

Look what I haaave!

My mailbox made me a happy girl yesterday!

It's not *exactly* the colours I was expecting, but it's still nice and soft and pretty. Though I'm not quite sure what I'm going to do with yarn the colour of a bruise.

Also, see my nice new wooden knitting needles? I'm phasing out my poor old metal ones.
