Delight of the Turkish variety.

My wonderful boy in London mailed me some of this delightful deliciousness this week. He even sent my favourite kind -- rose-flavoured! <3 I do believe that since I went to London and tried it, Turkish Delight may have replaced dark chocolate as my favourite candy. It tastes like... like what perfume would taste like if one could pick it off trees.

Every flavour I tried was delicious! Pistachio and strawberry and coconut and lemon and pineapple...

I miss these guys in Borough Market. No matter how many times I passed their stall, someone would always lure me over for a little sample bite.

Had my garage sale this weekend. The mornings were beautiful, luckily, but I didn't end up making very much money. Still, I have less junk now than I did two days ago, and that's never a bad thing.

I would not be displeased if this was my wedding song someday.

I don't know which version I like better; they're both lovely. Equally haunting and soothing.

Words of comfort to be scratched on a mirror.

Helen of Troy had a wandering glance;
Sappho's restriction was only the sky;
Ninon was ever the chatter of France;
But oh, what a good girl am I!

Roma, ti amo...

45. Go to Italy and try to get around without speaking any English or resorting to mad gesturing.

A few highlights from my trip to Ostia Lido and Rome back in March. I didn't speak much English at all, and by the end of my trip I was being asked for directions by Italians, so I think I did pretty well.

The weather was beautiful, with the exception of Sunday when my Vatican City expedition got rained on.

These are just a handful of about 500 photographs. I'm glad I took so many. <3

Ack, my wallet!

AllSaints things.

AllSaints just needs to stop this nonsense. How dare they make wonderful clothes I can't buy in the States? HOW DARE?!
